Marijuana becomes legal in 6 EU countries
This is an april fools post from 1 april 2014!
April Oolsf announced right today that 6 of European countries have decided to legalize marijuana. By the begining of 2015 all countries should already have legalized the drug.
One of these 6 countries will be Denmark, the country she represents in Europe Union.
“Legalization of marijuana makes it impossible for younger people to buy the drug.”
April said
“We have been discussed alot about if we should make marijuana legal or not. In the end we realized that making it legal would be the best choice for several reasons.
Two biggest reasons are:
- Criminals will have it more difficult to sell the drug and earn money after legalization.
- It will also make it impossible for younger people to buy the drug because of the higher penalties.
Good examples for this are for example Amsterdam , Colorado and Washington.”
She said that by letting marijuana be illegal it lowers security for everyone that buys it.
That because they don’t know for sure from who or what exactly they are buying.
List of 6 of the European countries that will legalize Marijuana in begining of 2015
- Denmark
- Finland
- Norway
- Sweden
- Germany
- Spain
The big surprise wasn’t Denmark like other Scandinavian countries.
Denmark already has one town called Christiania / Freetown Christiania where the drug is sold in open.
